Hi!
mkvore built iMule, echelon just host it to get it better/faster.
There were some attempts of doing a .deb, all failed til yet.
I2P has some changes made in latest developement versions to make it better for distributions and automatic updates.
To install I2P jsut do it as all do:
Install SUN Java 1.6 (suns IS really the better, faster, bugfree version)
Get the I2P installer
run it on GUI or do it gui-less (see echelon.i2p for more).

Hi,
Just to report a cosmetic bug in this version 1.4.5.
In the French version, in the 'Fichiers partagés' tab (shared files), after selection of the menu 'Edition de commentaire/note' (Edit comment/note), in the 'qualité du fichier' (quality of file), the French translation is wrong :
'Très bon' and 'Bon' have to be switched. |

Hello there, I'm wrote imule ebuild
The first (just FUI):
| Code: |
* QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile
* fine but exhibit random runtime failures.
* imule.cpp:2031: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules
* Please do not file a Gentoo bug and instead report the above QA
* issues directly to the upstream developers of this software.

The second. iMule wasn't not compile with gcc-4.4.1 at all and against wxGTK builded with gcc-4.4.1. aMule not affected, I think they fix it. gcc-3.4.3 compile wxGTK and iMule fine. Can autor fix this?

is it possible that imule 145 is not connection over udp server to i2p 079 ?
what could be wrong, if the udp server says:
2010-01-16 12:24:05: Opening port for UDP communications (kademlia distributed index)
2010-01-16 12:24:06: UDP server cannot connect to the I2P network (Unknown error)
2010-01-16 12:24:06: Next connection try in 1 mn |

HI!
Must be some other error.
My iMule 1.4.5 connects to 0.7.9 on linux and on windows.
Look if your network is up and if your SAM lib is up, to.

Mojn!
Changed my archive.
As iMule included router with 0.7.4 is heavy outdated and will possible break with forthcoming floodfill invasion, I bundled original windows iMule 1.4.5 .zip with I2P installer 0.7.9 exe into one zip under the name of the original iMule .zip.
I added a explanational README.txt into the archive with the hashsums of the original files.
Lets hope it will raise the rate of users of iMule with "external" I2P router and decrease the internal router users! _________________ eche|on
